§ Miss WilkinsonI assume that my hon. Friend has in mind children who are now classified as educationally subnormal. There is no special school for these children in the area of the West Riding County Council, but the local education authority are maintaining 46 educationally subnormal children in boarding special schools outside their area and have recently submitted a proposal, which I have approved in principle, to provide two boarding schools for such children in the West Riding.
