§ 116. Mr. Sorensenasked the Secretary of State for War approximately the number of German prisoners of war now in this country who have been prisoners here or 174W Pax Hill, Lind-held, Sussex, which it is understood was vacated by the military in February last, still remains requisitioned.
§ Mr. LawsonI assume the hon. and gallant Member is referring to "The Lodge," Pax Hill, which together with part of the Mansion forms part of a hutted camp. This camp is held to meet impending military commitments and I regret that I am unable at present to forecast a date for release.
