§ 134. Mr. T. J. Brooksasked the Secretary of State for War if he is aware that there is no regulation in the Army to enforce any payment on an officer in the Forces under legal agreement or court order, to maintain his wife and family; and if he will take steps to compel officers, the same as other ranks, to fulfil their obligations and payments in support of their wives and families.
§ Mr. LawsonTo implement my hon. Friend's suggestion would require legislation, and prior consultation with the Admiralty, the Air Ministry and other Departments concerned in a matter which 171W is not free from difficulty. I can, how-ever, assure my hon. Friend that this matter is at present under consideration.
