Lieut.-Colonel Byersasked the President of the Board of Trade what arrangements he is making for the increased importation and production of Dictaphones and other labour-saving devices, so as to increase the output of Government Departments which are at present suffering from lack of shorthand typists.
§ Mr. BelcherMy right hon. and learned Friend is prepared to consider the question of importation of dictating machines with those of his colleagues who are concerned. The question of increased production is a matter for my right hon. Friend the Minister of Supply.
