HC Deb 21 May 1946 vol 423 c35W
19. Mr. Pritt

asked the Secretary of State for War whether he is aware that the British Military Administration in the Island of Cos refused in January last to one, Dimitrius K. Hagianniou, a fully-qualified Greek advocate, permission to practise in the island on the ground that he had not the qualification required by the existing law, namely, that of Italy; and whether he will put a stop to a system which permits Italian Fascists to practise and prohibits Greeks from so doing.

Mr. Lawson

I am making inquiries and as soon as they are completed I will write to my hon. and learned Friend.
