§ 92. Mr. Price-Whiteasked the Minister of Works how many temporary technical assistants are employed by the Emergency Works Organisation; what is their scale of salaries; and what number of them were previously employed or trained in the servicing building trade.
§ Mr. TomlinsonThere are at present 53 temporary technical assistants employed in the Emergency Works Organisation; 27 are paid annual salaries ranging from £540 to £715, and 26 are paid weekly salaries ranging from £7 to £8. With the exception of nine, of whom seven are paid on a weekly basis, all have had previous experience in the building or allied trades or professions.
