asked the Minister of Fuel and Power, in view of the increased knowledge of war camouflage, whether he will consider an experimental scheme of camouflaging some of the grid electric light pylons carrying 133,000-volt cables which at present are all painted aluminium, even in beauty spots.

No, Sir. I am informed that the Central Electricity Board have in the past tried other colours but have found grey or galvanised pylons most effective for blending with the landscape.
