§ Captain MacLeodasked the First Lord of the Admiralty if he will now make a statement on the future of the naval air station at Fearn.
Mr. DugdaleThe R.N. Air Station, Fearn, is being reduced to a care and maintenance basis on or about 30th June, 1946. The Royal Navy's future requirements of airfields in the United Kingdom are under review, and I am not at present in a position to say whether Fearn is likely to be recommissioned at some later date.
