HC Deb 16 May 1946 vol 422 c269W
10. Mr. Grey

asked the Minister of Health whether he is insisting that all plans for the erection of permanent houses shall make provision for all the modern domestic equipment, so evident in the better type prefabricated temporary house, before giving his sanction to such plans.

Mr. Bevan:

Modern domestic equipment will be provided in permanent houses on the lines recommended in Housing Manual, 1944, of which I am sending my hon. Friend a copy.
