Mr. Granville

asked the Prime Minister if he will discuss with the Dominion Governments the proposal to improve the existing machinery for consultation along the lines suggested by Dominion Prime Ministers, and in accordance with the provisions of the Statute of Westminster and Balfour Declaration.

The Prime Minister:

His Majesty's Government in the United Kingdom are always ready to discuss with His Majesty's Governments in the Dominions any proposals for the development of consultation on matters of common concern which are practicable and likely to commend themselves to the Dominion Governments.
