HC Deb 15 May 1946 vol 422 cc253-4W
138. Commander Pursey

asked the Parliamentary Secretary to the Ministry of Civil Aviation when Catfoss aerodrome is likely to be available for the Hull area for internal and continental flying; and what amount of service is likely to be provided.

Mr. Ivor Thomas:

I am not able to say when Catfoss aerodrome will be available. Before the aerodrome could be made suitable for use by scheduled civil air services, the existing buildings would have to be substantially modified and the necessary signals facilities provided. Representatives of my Department will visit the site during the present month to consider these matters.
