23. Wing-Commander Hulbert

asked the Minister of Transport if he will arrange for all service motor vehicles bearing Government identification numbers, and which are now being disposed of to the public, to be issued with distinctive registration markings in order to indicate that these vehicles were not registered for the first time at the time of sale.

Mr. Barnes:

No, Sir, but I have arranged that when the vehicles are registered by the purchaser the registration books shall be marked "Ex-Government."
