asked the President of the Board of Trade whether he will arrange in future that when any of his representatives visit Liverpool to inquire into conditions prevailing in the cotton market, he will officially invite members of the Liverpool Cotton Association to meet them.

The hon. Member's suggestion will be borne in mind if and when the occasion should arise.
