HC Deb 09 May 1946 vol 422 cc118-9W
Mr. D. J. Williams

asked the Minister of Labour if he is aware that Peter John Coombes of Nantyfedwen Farm, Oneewyn, Glamorganshire, who was released from the mines to work on the farm, has been called up to His Majesty's Forces; that as a result there is no one available to attend to the farm which is getting into a serious state of neglect; and whether, in view of the urgent need for increased foof production, he will take steps to have Coombes released.

Mr. Isaacs:

I am aware of earlier correspondence. I am looking further into the case and will write to my hon. Friend at the earliest opportunity.
