§ Mr. Goronwy Robertsasked the Assistant Postmaster-General if he is aware that letters from Servicemen in Austria still take from three to four weeks to reach their destination in this country; and what steps he proposes to take to remedy matters.

§ Mr. Lawson:I have been asked to reply. The normal time taken for letters to travel from the Base Post Office in Austria to the office of delivery in this country is four days. If my hon. Friend will send me particulars of any case where letters have taken three to four weeks I will gladly investigate it.
