§ 75. Mr. Ernest Daviesasked the Minister of Food by how much the consumption of bread has increased as a result of the reinstitution of its daily delivery.
§ Sir B. Smith:Although the restrictions on the delivery of bread were removed on 31st March there has so far been no general resumption of full daily delivery services. There is no reason to think that this development has had any effect on the level of bread consumption.
