asked the Chancellor of the Exchequer whether he is satisfied that his powers are adequate properly assess for Income Tax bookmakers who operate on dog and horse tracks and have no registered place of business.

Mr. Dalton:

Yes, Sir. I think that the powers are adequate, though there may sometimes be difficulties in applying them.
