Mr. Medlicott

asked the Minister of Health how many and which parishes in each rural district in the county of Norfolk are without a pressure piped water supply; and whether he is satisfied with the water supply to the rural areas of Norfolk, generally.

I append a statement showing how many and which parishes in the rural districts of Norfolk are without, or substantially without, a piped water supply. The statement shows how unsatisfactory the water supply position in the rural areas of the County is, and I am encouraging the local authorities to press forward as urgently as possible with schemes for the provision of piped supplies in these districts.
