asked the Chancellor of the Duchy of Lancaster whether he will now authorise the admission of British newspapers and magazines to Germany for sale or loan to Germans.

Mr. J. Hynd:

Yes, Sir. Under arrangements already in hand British newspapers and periodicals will shortly be made available to certain German newspaper editors, politicians and officials.
