Major Lloydasked the Parliamentary Secretary to the Ministry of Civil Aviation whether he expects to be in a position shortly to grant permission to the Scottish Flying Club to renew private and club flying at Renfrew Airport, along with the provision of adequate hangar and workshop accommodation.
Mr. Ivor Thomas:Negotiations are in progress which will, I hope, result in the grant of flying rights at Renfrew Airport to the Scottish Flying Club. All available hangars and workshops are at present occupied but efforts are being made to obtain the release of additional accommodation for civil purposes.
