§ 38. Mr. S. Shephardasked the Minister of Supply and of Aircraft Production if he is aware that payments to, or to dependants of, men and women serving in the Forces, manual labour only, are disallowed under his Department's instructions in Government costings, but that similar payments to salaried staff are allowable if considered reasonable; and if he will take steps to remove this anomaly.
