asked the Assistant Postmaster General how many telephones have been installed since 1st January, 1946, in the county borough of Wallasey; and the number of applications for installation of telephones at present outstanding.

Three hundred new telephone lines were provided in Wallasey between 1st January and 21st March and 858 applications were outstanding on the latter date.
