asked the Secretary of State for War the number of Belgian civilians employed by the British Army and their cost to public funds since 8th November, 1945.

On 1st March about 27,690 Belgians were directly employed in Belgium by the British Army, Navy and Air Force. The total cost to the am sending the hon. Gentleman a report explaining the position in some detail
