HC Deb 21 March 1946 vol 420 c412W
85. Sir W. Wakefield

asked the Assistant Postmaster-General whether he has considered the suggestion that the holder of a wireless licence for a receiving set in his house should be entitled to the issue of a wireless licence for a receiving set fitted in his motor car at a reduced fee; and with what result.

Mr. Burke

Yes, Sir. It is not considered that such a concession would be warranted.

86. Sir W. Wakefield

asked the Assistant Postmaster-General the total amount of the revenue raised in each of the years 1936–37, 1937–38 and 1938–39, by the issue of licences for radio receiving sets fitted in motor cars.

Mr. Burke

I regret that the information for which the hon. Member asks is not available.
