§ Mr. Lawson:The usual procedure in hot climates is for a light meal to be served at midday and the main meal of the day to be served at a suitable time between 4:30 p.m. and 7.30 p.m Suppers should also be made available for all troops and served at an hour convenient to them. I am inquiring into the situation as regards suppers in Malaya and as soon as I have received a report I will write to my hon. Friend.
