§ Mr. Robensasked the Chancellor ofthe Exchequer if he is aware that in respect of the payment of Income Tax no allowance is made to a single man who has a home of his own and who employs a housekeeper; that there are many cases now of disabled ex-Servicemen who could not dispense with the services of a housekeeper; and if he will be prepared to consider some relief for such cases.
