§ 123. Mr. Lipsonasked the Secretary of State for War if the British troops serving in Germany may now be allowed to travel on German tramcars and attend cinema and theatre performances for the civilian population, as the orders-prohibiting both these are resented.
§ Mr, Lawson:The ban on British troops using German tramcars and attending cinema and theatre performances for the civil population is still in force. This was imposed in the interests of the health of our troops and in order to avoid depriving the German civilian population of part of their own limited facilities.
