CrippsThe Government's policy in this matter was set out in the answer which was given on the 19th December to my hon. and gallant Friend the Member for Workington (Lieutenant Peart), in which I stated that any Germans brought in under this scheme must be politically unobjectionable, and that they would be subject to strict supervision while they are here. It would not be practicable to publish the information asked for, nor would it be desirable in the public interest.
