§ Mr. Proctorasked the Minister of War Transport the amount of compensation paid for loss of office under the Railways Act, 1921, to railway directors; the amounts paid in compensation to officers receiving salary at the rate of more than £350 per annum; the amount of compensation paid to members of the railway staff receiving £350 or less per annum; the number of cases settled by agreement and the number referred to the arbitrator in each class above; and the legal costs of the cases decided by the arbitrator, to the railway companies, and to the railway trade unions.
