§ 101. Sir M. MacDonaldasked the Assistant Postmaster General whether he is aware that drastic reduction in the postal services in the districts lying between Fort William to Mallaig took place during the war; and if he will now make some improvement.
§ Mr. BurkeA second delivery had to be suspended in one or two localities in this neighbourhood during the war and collection and delivery times have been altered in conformity with changes in the railway service, but I am not aware of any drastic reduction of postal services. The service is now under review in accordance with the statement I made on 12th instant on postal services generally.
