§ Dr. SummerskillIn answer to the first part of the Question, I regret that it is impossible to estimate how many persons are employed in the preparation of foodstuffs for export as these are merged in general production. The number so employed is, however, very small in relation to those engaged in food manufacture as266W a whole. Allocations of foodstuffs for use in the manufacture of foodstuffs for export are being examined under a general review of food export policy, which is now being made in the light of the difficult food situation.
