Smithasked the Secretary of State for War his intentions with regard to the stocks of surplus furniture stored in Parry's Mills, Hythe Quay, Colchester; and whether he will give an assurance that in no case will any of these articles of furniture be destroyed as unserviceable, unless the public or a representative of the local authority have had an opportunity of examining them.
