§ Dr. Edith SummerskillThe abolition of the sector scheme on 3rd March last, which was welcomed by wholesalers, did not confer any privileges upon Marcom or other Ministry sponsored companies. Marcom's distribution depots were established before the institution of the sector scheme and will be retained for the time being. The use of additional transport by wholesalers is a matter entirely within their own discretion.
