§ Mr. Nallyasked the Secretary of State for the Home Department what steps he proposes to take to prevent or control the threatened revival of those football pool firms who, prior to 1939, were attracting between 5 and 10 per cent. of the total weekly sum spent by the public in this form of gambling, but whose payments back to the public in winnings were negligible or non-existent.
