§ Mr. LawsonThree mutinies, one major disturbance and two minor disturbances have taken place recently in military prisons and detention barracks. In order to enable them to defend themselves in the event of further outbreaks all members of the Military Provost Staff Corps are being armed with batons. Additional troops have also been detailed to stand by at all Military Prisons and Detention Barracks, and will be called in to assist the permanent staff in case of necessity.
