§ Mr. BarnesExperience has shown that, to avoid delays and the possibility of accidents occurring in changing the right of way from one road to another, the distance to be covered by vehicles from the stop line to the far side of the junction should be as small as is reasonably possible. I do not think, therefore, that my hon. Friend's suggestion would increase road safety
