§ Colonel Ropnerasked the Secretary of State for War whether he is aware that many of the tents supplied for the use of Dominion and Colonial troops in the Victory camp in Kensington Gardens have been inadequate protection against the recent rain and leak badly; and whether, in view of the desirability of extending better hospitality to troops who have come such long distances to provide a satisfactory Victory Parade for the British public, he will make immediate arrangements to ensure that henceforward everything possible will be done to improve the standard of accommodation and hospitality for them.
