§ Major Gatesasked the President of the Board of Trade how many new factories, and in which industries, have been established in the North-West region, with particular reference to Lancashire, since June, 1945, to the present date; what volume of employment he estimates these factories will provide; how many further new factories schemes, and in which industries, have received his sanction and approval; and what is his estimate of the volume of employment which will be provided under these schemes.
