asked the Minister of Town and Country Planning whether he is aware that huts built for war purposes, which do not conform to his regulations, are being sold to the public; and what steps he is taking to prevent consequent infringement of the Town and Country Planning Acts.

Mr. Silkin

The use of huts built for war purposes which are acquired by the public are subject to the provisions of the Town and Country Planning Acts, and I am not aware that any special steps are required to secure their enforcement.
