Lieut.-Colonel Lipton

asked the Secretary of State for War whether, in view of the continued need for the facilities provided by the King George V Club for Officers, Piccadilly, London, he will arrange to keep it open until at least the end of 1946.

Mr. Lawson

In view of the fact that these premises are urgently required to meet civil needs, I regret that the club cannot be kept open beyond 31st July.
