§ 29. Mr. Goochasked the Minister of Fuel and Power whether in view of climatic conditions during the winter months in Norfolk, he will consider transferring this county, which is one of the counties grouped in the eastern area in which the maximum amount of coal which may be supplied is 34 cwts., to the group of areas in which the maximum allowance is 50 cwts.
§ Mr. GaitskellMy right hon. Friend has already considered similar proposals submitted to him by local authorities in Norfolk and adjoining areas but regrets that he is unable to make this concession.
