§ Major Beamishasked the Chancellor of the Duchy of Lancaster what restrictions 'are at present put on German musicians and artistes who wish to perform abroad; and when these restrictions will be lifted.
§ Mr. J. HyndMusicians and artistes are covered by the same restrictions as any other Germans and in present circumstances it would obviously not be possible to allow free movement of Germans into and out of Germany. I cannot say when it will be possible to remove or modify these restrictions. This will depend on how the general situation in Germany 275W develops and in particular on the progress of de-Nazification and the solution of transport difficulties.
