§ 54. Mr. F. Andersonasked the Minister of Agriculture the programme of work of 251W the West Cumberland Rivers Catchment Board to restore their watercourses to good condition and the priority of the schemes to be carried out, stating the approximate dates when the work will commence.
§ Mr. T. WilliamsThe West Cumberland Rivers Catchment Board have in hand at the present time ten schemes of improvement which have already been approved. Their future programme includes II first priority schemes to be begun at various dates in the next four years. During the latter half of this period it is hoped in addition to begin work on five schemes of second priority, and a further eight schemes of second and third priority are due to be undertaken at some time before March, 1950. I am writing to my hon. Friend to give him more precise details.
