§ 117. Mr. Ecclesasked the Minister of Supply why His Majesty's Government have ordered 2,500 Austin 12 and 16 h.p. motor cars when there are ex-Government motor cars which, after overhaul, would be quite suitable for U.N.R.R.A. and R.A.F. requirements.
§ Mr. WilmotTwo thousand five hundred new Austins have been ordered for the Control Commission because all surplus Government cars for which reconditioning capacity is available had already been allocated to other important uses.
