§ 104. Mr. W. Shepherdasked the President of the Board of Trade when it is expected that barytes will be imported from Germany and lithopone from 197W Belgium; and whether a distribution will take place in this country through the normal trade channels.
§ Mr. MarquandIt is unlikely that barytes will be available for export from Germany before the end of this year. Supplies for the United Kingdom will be imported by the Board of Trade on Government account. It is as yet too early to say how distribution will be effected in this country. It is not possible to indicate at present when lithopone will be available for export from Belgium.
