§ Sir S. CrippsI am aware of the delays in making surgical boots, mainly due to a severe shortage of skilled labour. In an effort to remedy this we have, as I have previously informed the House, arranged 163W with the Ministry of Labour to set up centres to train disabled ex-Servicemen and others in this work. I regret I have no trace of the particular case mentioned in the last part of the Question, but if the hon. Member will be good enough to send me a copy of his communication, I will look into the matter.
