§ 82. Mr. Teelingasked the Minister of Health whether, in view of the frequent resale of houses, often before stamp duty has been paid for the completion of the first transaction at increasing prices, and especially in view of the case of 12 Cedars Gardens, Brighton, of which he has been informed, he will consider issuing an order to prevent the resale of houses within six months of purchase.
§ Mr. BevanThis is one aspect only of the control of the selling price of houses and, as I have previously stated, I can hold out no prospect of legislation in this matter.
