§ 104. Mr. Hurdasked the Minister of Food if he has yet requested the U.S. Government to ensure the supply, before 30th September, of the 200,000 tons of wheat promised to Great Britain to replace stocks diverted to European famine areas in the spring.
§ Dr. SummerskillThe United States Government have promised to make this wheat available for shipment to the United Kingdom by the end of July, if possible, and if not by early August. My right hon. Friend is hopeful that most of it will have been shipped by the end of July.
