§ 101. Sir B. Neven-Spenceasked the Minister of Works if he is aware that, for the past six months, it has been impossible to obtain glass for the repair of windows damaged by gales in Shetland last winter; and if he will take immediate steps to see that glass is made available for current repairs in these islands.
§ Mr. WilsonI am informed that the manufacturers have recently despatched a supply of window glass to the Shetland Islands. If the hon. Member will let me have particulars of any long outstanding orders still remaining unfulfilled I will have further inquiries made.
