Smithasked the Secretary of State for the Home Department how many cases of the crime of murder have taken place in the United Kingdom since 31st December, 1943; in how many instances the accused were found guilty and in how many acquitted; how many accused, found guilty, were subsequently reprieved; and what is the number of cases where no individual has, as yet, been accused.
